Background: Insulin Autoimmune Syndrome (IAS) is a rare cause of hyperinsulinemic hypoglycaemia with only few descriptions in children in the literature. Drugs containing the sulfhydryl group, such as methimazol, are known to be a causative factor of this syndrome.
